Have you ever seen people working so hard and yet be so happy about it! What a group!

These are pictures of my fine new colleagues in HR. Everyone has been so kind and friendly. I am lucky to be working with them!

Friday May 20, 2008 was the last day of school for the year. It also marked the end of Connor, Tasha and Darci attending the school where I was principal. In fact, it marked the last day of my being an elementary school principal. It was a really tough day for me. I welcomed the kids as they came and said goodbye when they left. I got too many hugs to count.

My career has been wonderful- I have been lucky to work with the finest people in the world. Educators are good people. They give their hearts and souls and truly make this a better world. Besides- they’re all a bunch of “blues.” (See the Color Code.)

These are pictures of my grandbabies on the last day of school. (Connor spent the night with a friend and he actually called me before school to see if he could come to school on the last day with his hair blue and his face painted blue. What a good kid! I told him yes to the blue hair but no to the blue face.

There are also pictures of our staff luncheon on our last day at school. Good people, life-time friends.

On Sunday, July 13 we had a family BBQ for Tasha & Chan. If I knew how I'd put a caption by each picture but alas, I am a digital immigrant. I am lucky to get any of this stuff up.

The Claw

I had carpal tunnel surgery last week as well as a cyst removed from my pinkie. Missy refers to it as "The Claw." :) But she is still my favorite daughter and sometimes posts blogs for me because she knows my password. ;) hi mom!
